Child Education

It’s a well known proverb that “Children are the gift of God” and no child is born an orphan. Many children are separated from their parents due to natural disasters, disease, poverty, death of a parent or both. Some others leave their homes, pressured by circumstances. Some of them are even abandoned and left behind in maternity wards because they are born with “imperfections”. At New Life, we have adopted 15 such helpless children of various ages, all reared as one family with love and affection. They are provided food, clothing, shelter, education, medical care and spiritual guidance.

At Saranagathi, they are provided food, shelter, clothing and medical aid, along with love, care and affection. They feel at home here and can spend the rest of their lives peacefully.

Employment Generation

The Income Generation Program reaches out to these mothers and provides them alternate means of income. Having their own business means that their hours are flexible and they are able to keep their children with them while they work, it also provides them with the feeling of empowerment. When a mother’s needs are fulfilled so are her children’s. The women also work closely with our project officers who ensure that their business is reaching its full potential and they are provided with training programs to help them effectively manage their families and business. We believe that children should have every chance to grow up in a happy, carefree environment. This program gives every mother a chance to provide that for her child and for herself.

Rural Development

The entire Eraiyur village is drought prone and has absolutely no yield of ground water the government supplied water is brought to this village everyday through pipelines only for few hours. Yet this is another major problem that New Life NGO and the villagers are facing. The New Life Charitable Trust along with Panchayat Board Leader worked with VHERDS (Voluntary Health Education and Rural Development Society) who donated a 5 HP motor, and drinking water was brought to the village.

06

Social Awareness

Organize and support health care camps in small towns and villages to benefit the poor. In rural areas, there are often no facilities available for basic health care needs. The few that are there are under-staffed and mismanaged. Hence, poor families suffer, particularly women and children because of the lack of female doctors in remote locations. Mother Foundation Charitable Trust sponsors health camps in remote locations and arranges for medical teams, medical supplies and medicines to benefit the poor.

Education for all

1. Your desire to share in the life of a child. 2. Your commitment to provide regular support for a term. 3. Your concern to help more children and encourage others in your community to become sponsors as well. It takes a subsidy of just Rs. 6,000/- p.m. to keep a child in school and meet his/her needs. Decide today, become a sponsor and pledge to lend a helping hand to support a less fortunate child. Education shouldn’t be a privilege, it should be a right. An increasing number of children, girls, in particular, fall through the cracks of the education system. These children have dreams which they never reach, either for economic or social reasons. Having even a high school degree drastically increases their earning potential and puts them closer to their goals.

08

Women welfare

As humanity is the creation of God, the same as the God also created the tradition we know by the name of Sacred Relationship. But, as we know that in our society marriages are mean to be a very sacred thing and each religious faith has nuptial traditions and practices — including standard wedding vows — that have been passed down through generations. As we all know that in Indian the traditions wedding ceremonies are elaborated and complex, similarly the money and marriage goods are also necessary and are required in the arrangement of bonding two souls. BDT Development Trust Consequences this noble cause with the trustees, members and volunteers of orphan and poor girls marriage trust with their selfless spirit, they believes to help our embattled society by this cunning work to support the poor girls marriage.

The problems of poverty, illiteracy and homelessness seem to fall hardest on the children of migratory families, these families struggle to find basic child care and nutrition let alone guarantee an education for their children. In our experience, most parents tend to become helpless and hopeless while others settle for very mean options, some parents even turn violent and abusive; leaving these children in spaces they don’t feel safe.

Three meticulously designed verticals achieve this goal- Income Generation, Child Development, and Educational Sponsorship. Each of these programs is evidence based and closely monitored. We ensure that every child who calls Medical And Education Trust home is reaching their full potential.

"To look into some aspects of the future, we do not need super computers. Much of the millennium can be seen in how we care for our children today. Tomorrow's world may be influenced by science and technology, but more than anything it is already taking shape in the bodies and minds of our children."
